Car park barriers and speed humps at a supermarket car park have been installed in an attempt to put a stop to antisocial behaviour.

In the past week a number of readers have been in touch with Wrexham.com regarding the installation of barriers at the entrance / exit the Tesco Extra car park.

Work installing the four car park barriers and speed humps began last week and have been fitted to help stamp out antisocial behaviour in the car park at the far end of the supermarket.

A spokesman for Tesco said: “We have installed new barriers and speed humps at the car park of our Tesco Extra store in Wrexham.

“These measures have been put in place to prevent anti-social behaviour involving motor vehicles within the car park, and will have no impact upon the normal operation of the
car park for our customers.”
