Appeal Following Attempted Robbery at Caia Park Hair Salon

Police are appealing for information following an attempted robbery at a hair and beauty salon in Caia Park.

The incident happened at Unique Hair and Beauty off the Queensway roundabout at around 5.20pm on Thursday March 23rd.

A male entered the premises and demanded money, but fled empty-handed.

The male is is described as thin and about 5ft 6ins tall. He was wearing a black hooded top, black gloves and knee-length navy blue shorts. He also had a scarf covering his face.

The suspect made off on a bicycle in the direction of Montgomery Road.

DS Roz Hewitt said: “No one was hurt and nothing was stolen. I am appealing for anyone who may have information which would assist our investigation, to contact police on 101, quoting reference V040511.”
