This would have been a franchise, so i would guess the agreement ended or the ‘owners’ pulled out.

Fancy a new career Rondetto? You could partner up with AMA Express.

Derek “WreXIt – few points about your post – there are probably only about 3- 4% of the people in A & E who are ‘foreign nationals compared with between 11-12% of the overall population.”

If almost 7% are EU Migrants without factoring in the Non-EU migrants then we have a large capacity problem.

Welcome in those qualified and boot out the scroungers. I am with Australia on this. Don’t let in the dross who come over purely for benefit. MAKE the doleys take the poorly paid jobs that they are too lazy to apply for because they are better off on benefits.

Solved! – you can close the thread now Rob.

The number of EU citizens living in the area has climbed by around 4,000 since the referendum held in June 2016, according to the latest estimates from the Office for National Statistics (ONS).

Data shows that the number of EU migrants living in the area rose from 5,000 in 2016 to 9,000 in June.

European citizens accounted for 6.6 per cent of Wrexham’s total population, compared with an average of 5.7 per cent for the United Kingdom.

How do we handle the extra demand?

People don’t go to A&E for ‘fun’ when they know they could be there all day and/ or night.

When the doors to the UK were flung open and Agencies advertised Wrexham as being paved with gold, that is when the problems increased (not started)

We all know stories of agencies bringing in Polish, providing them with accommodation which included hot-bedding (one in one out)and ripping them off in the process. And the tales of them sending all of their money home!

People who pretend it doesn’t happen need to open their eyes. Look around you!

If Brexit ever happens and people stop pouring in and fetching their families over to live then maybe the NHS will improve. If not then I am wrong.

    Birdman, please engage your brain!

Extra people, whether black, white, yellow green or purple with 8 eyes, will DRAIN RESOURCES! Its is NOT xenophobioc it is common sense.

How would you explain the extra demand for A&E and bed spaces?

Let me try to explain it in a way you can understand.
If you are in MacDonalds and a coach arrives the demand for services will increase and the person at the back of the queue won’t get their MacBurger for quite a time. Then another coach arrives.

They cannot suddenly extend the restaurant or call more staff in or magic up some more burgers and cooking facilities.

ANY INCREASE IN DEMAND RESULTS IN LONGER QUEUES.

In the case here it could be immigrants or people moving to the area into a new housing estate. The hospital cannot magic up extra resources to cope and so the situation degrades.

I hope you can understand that Birdman.

    Thank you

Nobody wants to address the elephant in the room – Immigration.

People argue that they pay their way in taxes but they also add to the waiting times for A&E and operations.

The surge in people coming into the area has mucked up the infrastructure and it is evident that it is not going to improve.

If you need A&E services then you have to be prepared to wait.

I have won a number of similar competitions, normally I win a car, a holiday or a life-changing pile of money.
All I had to do was prove it was me was send a copy of my passport and my bank details. They also wanted to know the name of my first pet and my PIN.

    Not got my prizes yet”

The Government should get the unemployed out of their beds and make them clear the snow and ice!
It is probably against their Human Rights though so better carry on giving them money for nothing.

So with the money from the “cat curry” night and Janey’s sponsored Tea Party, we can invite more forum users and aim for somewhere more exotic than Spain.

Katy, where do you suppose the rest of the Jamboree money will go?

In that case i would like money for a holiday in Spain with Janey and some of the more likable members of the forum.

Cat curry for everyone then so i can get booking.
