….as for the basic manners and decency quip, if you and your ilk could adhere to that and actually follow the rules/guidance and stay 2 metres apart and socially distance from me and others in the correct manner, this nightmare will come to a conclusion far more speedily.

Difficult to arrange deliveries when you’re working 12 hour shifts on an ITU/CCU unit, often working overtime at very short notice because colleagues are succumbing to the effects of the virus and all that entails.
Maybe you’ll come and volunteer to cover me for an hour as I dash home to welcome the delivery driver?
Nothing Messianic about my actions, it’s just that whether you like it or not I and my NHS colleagues are continually perplexed and aghast at the actions and behaviour of a small section of the public who are lengthening the duration of this pandemic through their selfish actions and attitudes.
As for the snowflake explanation, thank you but I didn’t need your mindset and demeanour pointing out to me, it’s patently obvious from your constant posts that whinge about anything and everything whilst never putting ideas or solutions forward.

Keep up the great work, Champ!

Telling someone to remain at least 2 metres away from me is being a vigilante? LOL, what a pair of snowflakes!

Given where I work, it is in EVERYONES interests to stay the correct distance away from me as it is me from them.
Or do you want to see the current trend at the Maelor continue ad infinitum?
I don’t have the luxury of staying at home, I HAVE to go to work but when I see the public putting me and everyone around them in danger, I’ll take them to task over it.
Ignorance and complacency have fuelled the current crisis, let’s not see it continue as a result of pure idiocy.

Btw, how are public vigilantes going to differentiate between those breaking the rules and those with disability and/medical exemptions?

Given that supermarkets are now tackling the issue of those not wearing masks, again, for the hard of understanding:
If you’ve got a medical exemption, DO NOT put yourself and others at risk by going into said supermarkets, get your groceries delivered.
If you’re exempt, why put yourself at risk of further harm by going out in public in the current crisis?

Come remonstrating with me for not doing as you think i should and it would not go well. IMHO

    LOL, another keyboard warrior!
Happy to meet you in a car park of your choice, or behind the bike sheds at hometime, bring your mates…..FFS!

If you get within 2 metres of me at the checkout, I’ll tell you, have no fear. Not really my fault if you can’t follow basic, simple instructions.

…..that was in response to the last paragraph of Matt’s first post.

Wrong! Have you been watching the local news and taken on board the current crisis at the Maelor?

It is EVERYONES responsibility to point out those who are infringing and ignoring the rules, that’s why we’ve ended up in the current crisis.
I have no qualms about reminding folk that’s it’s 2 metres for a reason as they’re trying to load their shopping onto the checkout whilst 3 feet away from me.

People aren’t doing it for themselves, hence they have to be taken to task and shamed into following protocols, for everyone’s safety.

    Shanks’s Pony or a pushiron!

The very idea of vehicle sharing is totally irresponsible but especially so in light of the current status at the Maelor and as someone who works there I would actively discourage such a practice.
Some routes are still open so I guess some will have to walk a bit further to get to a suitable bus stop.

Not even vaguely surprised at the figures for this whole area.
Many(not just a few) have shown a flagrant disregard for the rules and regulations surrounding this whole pandemic since it began, thus we’ll now reap the whirlwind.
Well done Wrexham, too at being bottom, AGAIN!
