The sheer incompetence of this department is astounding. Granting permission for 7 flats at the old Midland bank in Cefn Mawr defies belief. The car park mentioned cannot cope with the cars st present. The addition of a further 7 flats opposite is astounding. The comment that the occupants are unlikely to be car owners is baffling. What do they know that we should be told. It adds to the comment that there are 4 bus stops in the village when in actual fact no buses go through the centre of the village anymore.
    You couldn’t make it up.

“The comment that the occupants are unlikely to be car owners is bafflings is baffling”

Didn’t Lawrence Isted say last year about 300 plus new flats on Glyndwr University campus that “given that the units are solely for the use of students, I see no reason why any occupier should, or would desire to have a motor vehicle during their occupancy.”?

He doesn’t think that there are parking problems in Wrexham because there are no problems in his back yard. Plus he has a parking space for work so doesn’t need to stick his car down a side street.

Planners don’t know the areas or visit the area at different times so see how communities work, so talk shite a lot of the time.
