I didn’t go but it would be good to have a debate with the person elected specifically on what they would do for Wrexham- alongside our Assembly Member and Leader of the Council so that issues that are devolved can not be dodged as one or the other of the panel would have to respond.
If (and it is only an IF) the conversative candidite will be elected- we would have

This is an ideal scenario for passing the buck with each one blaming the other for not doing something at the expense of the citizens of Wrexham

The event was very well organised by Georgia and was managed well by Rob Shelley. I would like to have heard more of what Ian Lucas’ vision of the future would be rather than taking the opportunity to blame the coalition government for the last 5 years! At one point Andrew Atkinson did actually challenge Ian Lucas to answer a question without including the words Tory or Lib Democrats.
