Looking at a similar artist impression video of the new Prison it looks like it will be more comfy than the Arts Centre.
It also now looks like design cuts are starting to show through – yet another example on this project that what was said at the beginning would happen= market traders to stay during building, high quality finish, outdoor cinema. What else will change by the time it is built? Oh yes forgot it’s a Council project so it will go over budget!!

Liz JacksonParticipantIt looks like there is only one feature that reflects the local – all the metal weld mesh reflects Brymbo Steelworks. What about coal, seven winders of Wales. Sport etc- the place looks barren with no character.

Rex HamParticipant“What Wrexham needs is an open air cinema” – said no one ever!!!!
I have long since been a supporter of the creation of an “arts hub” in town, but this bit is really baffling me!
Dear god, those who remember the Glynne cinema will recall the rain hitting the tin roof, but at least it had one!!!

In the interests of keeping it local, they shall also be wafting the FOUL STENCH OF GRATUITOUS VIOLENCE through the air conditioning system whilst random characters, garbed in the traditional, local tracksuit uniform, accuse members of the audience of LOOKING AT THEM.

Interesting to compare the Facebook inputs with those on here. Funny how being incognito can have such a negative effect on constructive debate.
