Temp lights on Pen Y Bryn

Wish someone would sort the lights out down there. They have been put up because of scafffolding outside buildings and moving along the road gradually.
Last 2 weekends the lights are by the Halfords Autocentre.
Problem is traffic going down towards St Giles get stopped at the lights by Voodoo Moon, this means the traffic stops back up through the temp lights so when they change to green to go up away from town traffic can’t get through. I sat there for almost 30 minutes today, in the end once someone got through everyone else just went through on red.
To be honest I can’t see why they need the lights at all now, its only a buildings width so why they can’t just let motorists wait before passing is beyond me.
