I am no way a Labour supporter – I think I have made that clear. But after a slow start, Drakeford and Labour have done a fantastic job through the pandemic. I did not vote for a Labour candidate as it is against my political beliefs but another 5 years of Drakeford has to be seen as a positive. Hopefully the bi-partisan politics can continue in Wales, for the benefit of us all.

I thought Drakeford was retiring after this election.

I still think labour has been a mess for Wales, and we are still the poorest nation in UK, but you have to give credit when it’s due. They have performed through Covid.

You query that Mark Drakerford said he would retire after the Senedd election. Well he certainly did not retire BEFORE the election so that is another promise by Welsh Labour that has been kept!

MD had actually stated he would step down as First Minster during the next term of the Welsh Government so in theory he has 4 years and 11 months to go!
Seriously though he will likely guide Wales through to a point when Covid is not the top priority before stepping down..
