Nearly had another bump at the traffic lights at the Ruthin Road bypass lights
today. Just come off the bypass today, a car travelling from Coedpoeth goes straight
through on red it’s not the first time this has happened can drivers not see the red light
or are the timings out. someone is going to get seriously hurt onday.

Gresford roundabout is terrible for this – seen several near misses with people running lights.

Also had a cracking ‘merge’ yesterday with the neon red headed woman in the red polo not really understanding lanes at all!

I get that quite often there. Also when coming down from Coedpoeth the amount of people who pull out in front of you from the Brymbo link road is ridiculous.
The cars are coming down from Coedpoeth at 50mph and people still pull out right in front of them without a care in the world. The frequency that cars coming down from Coedpoeth have to slam the brakes on or swerve to avoid these clowns is frightening. If you can’t judge speed and distance then you should question whether you should be driving at all.

Gresford roundabout is a nightmare … it not only has clearly marked lanes, but some of them are even different coloured tarmac to clearly indicate the distinction between one and the other … and yet the number of people who still pull into the completely wrong lane and then cut you up is ridiculous!

The mold road roundabout approaching Sainsbury’s is just as bad. They get in the middle lane as if approaching for Mold then swerve into the right hand lane to go around to Sainsbury’s. I wouldn’t mind if they went into the right hand lane then indicated that they were turning into the left hand lane. but they are ignorant to the lane markings.

Mold Road roundabout is confusing to anyone who is not local (or even locals). A couple of years ago they altered the lane instructions by putting up yellow signs BUT, the markings painted on the lanes have not been altered. Surely it would not cost much to bring the lane markings in line with the signs.

Happened again today, two cars this time. Is this the time to put cameras there to catch the red light jumpers or will they wait until someone is seriously hurt or killed. Have only seen this happen with traffic coming down from Coedpoeth side so is their a problem with the lights.

There is something weird about Ruthin road lights as sometimes there’s a filter if you want to turn right towards Oswestry and at others there isn’t. Sometimes you can turn right at the beginning of the sequence and at other times it’s at the end. This is no excuse for people jumping a red light but it does make for confusion!

Do we have to obey traffic lights and what’s JoanTheHag’s position on this?
