Phosphates Summit to be held as “Wales has come to a stand-still”

Have the water companies told us how much phosphates are in the raw sewage they’re discharging into our rivers with gay abandon?

Ridiculous situation, costing jobs in the building trade and supply chain. Welsh government as usual dragging their feet with no rush to sort, any summit should have been held months and months ago. Usual blaming it on global warming when its the obvious agricultural run off and animal faeces that’s the main cause as it always has been.

It will probably end up with another bill for the homeowner to pay or some sort of levy on new house prices to line the pockets of water companies and their cronies.

A phosphates summit? Sounds like a pile of crap. :)

Seriously though I’m not sure why the onus is on developments and not on HD, given their Five Fords waste water treatment plant is the one doing all the discharging into the Dee.
