I wont be going to these shops until it is safe. I don’t need a standard lamp or a pair of leggings so much that I will risk my life for them.

Then dont go, nobody is forcing you to do anything, but open things up for those who do. Shopkeepers and business owners have worked hard all their working lives to earn a living and its being destroyed.
