Eagles Meadow continues to open new shops, Animal , Trespass and Caran D’Arche who sell ladies wear. Good to see new additions to Wrexham rather than just shops moving location within the town. All three are located near the bridge and are well worth a look if you are in town over the Jubilee Weekend.

Animal is in quite a few places across Wales including Bangor, so coming to Wrexham is not a surprise whether they get people to buy in there is another thing, but as for the other shop i have never of it not sure if it is independent i don’t know.

Another new store about to open , Glam Avenue, they have taken over the old Village Bakery shop opposite Barclays Bank. They are going to sell handbags, jewellery and mobile accessories . Good to see another new business in that part of town!

Am I the only one who thinks that the shops that are coming to Wrexham are repeats of what we already have? yes its nice to see empty shops being occupied but do we really need somewhere else that sells handbags, jewellry and mobile phone accessories?

There is a shop in Charles Street having a new front installed today, looks like internal shutters too. Anyone one know who is moving in there? Good to see another empty shop being refurbished and used.

That woule be Bartletts Solicitors – and we have now opened at number 5 Charles St (as from 11th June 2012).

Good to see the Council encouraging new stalls in the Butchers Market, the new artisan baker brings something different to the shopping experience there although only on Monday and Saturday at the moment. I wonder of there are others who would benefit from an indoor stall on a Monday, there are still a few vacant in all the indoor markets.

I see Pets at Home are getting ready to open on the Border Retail site ( the one by Tesco). They have taken the shop site between Wickes and Next. Another new addition to the range of stores available in Wrexham.

So, are they staying at the site near Sainsbury’s or is that one closing ?
