It is sad to see that someone who has spent many years providing a service in the cafe in the Library is now having to close the business due to the building works and the inability of the Council to sort out the toilets during the alterations.
Everything has now gone and doors are closed up — how much of the money that could have gone to sort out the cafe facilities in the Library have all been ploughed into trying to make Ty Pawb viable.

This is disgraceful that the owner had not received support from the Council when they are now subsidising other food outlets in Ty Pawb. Where is the equality in this Council? The Police and Crime Commissioner should also be ashamed as some of the problems are to do with the builders he has doing the new town centre police Station.

Is the cafe actually ran as a private venture? I assumed it was part of the library goings on?

It was a private venture paying rent for the premises

I went to the library this morning and there is a sign outside the cafe area saying “Closed due to retirement”.

Retirement would have meant selling the business – this was clearly a closure due to lack of trade..

It was due to lack of trade, but mainly caused by the on going building works and lack of toilets for months now, as already stated a disgrace really..
