What a joke. Last week after I drove around a few times and was over the moon that I found somewhere to park. My appointment was pretty quick but when I got to the car I could not even get out of my parking space for 20 minutes. Then I was an hour after that getting home.

But I am glad that this is being taken seriously.

Lesley Griffiths AM said: “Traffic congestion around the Maelor Hospital has been particularly troublesome over the last few days and constituents have contacted me expressing their frustrations.
“Some have suggested there is a particular issue with the traffic lights on Croesnewydd Road and I have written to Wrexham Council to request the problem be rectified urgently and to highlight the latest issues generally.”

Did you send the letter second class love?

I walked through the car park one morning last week, people parking at the end of the car park near Morrisons then walking into town. They should put cameras up (it costs money I know) and people who need to park at the car park get a pass with their registration on it.

If only those barmy socialists hadn’t got their way after the Second World War and set up the NHS, then you wouldn’t even have had the hassle of a pesky hospital appointment.

    Damn Corbynista types!

The Western gateway project included plans for a complete new junction to the A483 from the road to moneypenny. This has been quietly shelved and no one in power is saying anything about it.

Far too expensive to install and monitor cameras. You’d need staff to monitor the cameras, someone to administer the passes and staff to patrol the car parks to monitor the scheme and do something about vehicles ‘illegally’ parking.

I was waiting for a scan and read how many missed appointments there were and how much it costed the NHS.
How many of these are people who can’t park and how much would this offset came4as and the like?

You really cannot compare a mediocrity like Jeremy Corbyn to the likes of Clement Attlee, Ernest Bevin, Aneurin Bevan, Herbert Morrison and others of that generation. They had all achieved more for the working classes and the country before they even entered Parliament than Jeremy has achieved throughout his long and ineffective political career.

Yes, those big names who looked after you in your day are heroes, but the guy who would do the same today for younger people is a “mediocrity.”

Are there people who park in the hospital car park and walk into town to work ? Do you know of anyone who is selfish enough to do it ? Maybe portable CCTV cameras would help establish the facts.
