No longer do they even say spaces let alone the actual number of spaces left in the car parks, now they all just say open !! That is except for the one in Holt Street that is blank except for a welsh word which I think translates to “closed” next to the Market Street car park name! One of the most useless, poorly thought out expenditure this Council has undertaken. Surely they could have found a better use , even under Taith bidding restrictions for £500,000.

All these signs now seem to alternate between saying “spaces” and “open” . Sometimes they say spaces in the morning and open in the afternoon! Haven’t seen a “full” sign in ages !

Eagles Meadow is a good one as its ‘Open’.

As it is open 365 days a year – and yes even Christmas Day for those who want a festive Nandos – you have to wonder why a digital sign is needed :)

Because not everyone knows that ?

I agree signage saying ‘open’ could be required, however to have information that never changes presented via a dynamic digital display seems odd to me when a cheapo sticker on a sign could convey the same information and not suffer from power cuts and other outages :)
