I am fully aware that politicians, public and private bodies have a penchant for stating the glaringly obvious when offering up press releases, but first place for 2015 must surely go to North Wales Police.
When commenting on the theft of an 8 tonne skip from Deva Way, the spokesperson stated
“The thieves would have needed a vehicle to remove the skip.”
What other way could there possibly be? A wheelbarrow or on somebody’s back?
At the very least, stop patronising by assuming that everybody has the intelligence of a jellyfish.Harsh.
There used to be a well organised team of Yogic Flyers in Queens Park who were always nicking stuff like that and bigger.
They nicked half of Y Wern once.
