No information on what impact there will be on daytime traffic…lane closures? Assuming HUGE delays around the clock!!

The information given at the ‘open day’ indicates that the work will be evening and no details on individual lane closures as of yet.

There is some kind of ceasefire around Christmas and New Year but no firm details on that as of yet.

The info provided states that road closures are from 21:00-05:00 yet the info boards at side of A483 states road closures are 22:00-05:00.

I heard that too. So they put signs up about 3 weeks back but they show incorrect times. Not a great start………

Surely taking out the central reservation and creating a lane and installing traffic lights is going to have an impact on the daytime. The road won’t return to normal while the sun is up and change at night only!?

Signage is apparently, or was, wrong. Hopefully this thread can help reflect the reality then the page can be updated to help people.

The Christmas thing was said at the ‘open evening’ event, however there is no formal data for what that means dates and times wise.

Somewhere in there it says there will be no lane closures during the day but there will be traffic management at certain times. Presuming that means temp lights.

This is going to cause absolute mayhem, can you imagine for example the situation with this forthcoming ‘ Bubble ‘ match between Wrexham and Chester. I really fail to see also how two extra sets of traffic lights is going to improve the situation

Strimming and grass cutting the verges there today. I would love to bet that it all gets dug up next week!!
