Don’t forget to get your tickets for this year’s literary festival, Wrexham’s Carnival of Words. This year’s line-up has something for everyone including bestselling authors Alan Johnson, Ben Kane, Joanne Harris, Barbara Erskine, Lisa Cutts and Simon Booker plus local author Aled Lewis Evans. There will be a Poetry Baton at Eagles Meadow, a talk about the drama Bothered and Bewildered a moving insight into the realities of dementia and back by popular demand the great debate ‘My Era Is Better Than Yours’ as top authors try to persuade you to choose their period in time.
