Saturday Art Mash-up and Saturday Studio Sessions

Join artist Jo Marsh for a fun afternoon of arts and crafts in this mini art school. There are classes throughout the afternoon suitable for 7 – 12 year olds and for ages 13+.

Spring Lecture

Come along and join glassblower Paul le Pinnet as he explores the history of glass blowing. It’s the perfect chance to discover more about some of the historic glass objects that can still found in Chirk Castle’s collection. Join Paul after his talk for a two course buffet lunch. The event is suitable for those aged 12 and over. Advanced booking is required.

Multi-Skills Dragon Sport

A new way of teaching children the skills for a life in sport is set to give Welsh youngsters the same sporting start as in countries like Australia and New Zealand Dragon Multi-Skills and Sport will focus on embedding basic skills – such as agility, balance and co-ordination – that give the essential building blocks, before moving on to playing a specific sport. This is event is suitable for 6-11 years

Residents in Caia Park and Hightown are invited to meet up with staff from the new Communities First Programme team. The team will be holding a series of information roadshows to update residents on the changes to Communities First and the work they will be undertaking over the next two years. The roadshows are open to all residents in the areas and to all partner organisations in the area.

Wrexham Council Tenants Supported Housing Service Review Group

Wrexham Tenants living in or interested in Supported Housing Services including sheltered housing and services for older persons as well as any tenant in receipt of the Tenancy Support Scheme meet regularly to determine service standards and monitor the quality of services from a customer perspective. The meetings are held in different Sheltered Housing schemes every two months. Alternative booking is required. This event is suitable for Wrexham Council Tenants 18+
