Families across Wrexham are invited to take part in a FREE Roald Dahl inspired treasure hunt on Saturday 24th September as part of Wrexham Street Festival.

The Roald Dahl Mischief March challenges children to “complete the snozzleboxing activities and collect trumptrailious treats then solve the riddliest of riddles and follow clap-whacking-clues around Wrexham town centre”.

Parents are warned in advance that, in true Roald Dahl fashion, the activities will be MONSTROUSLY-MESSY and a LOT of fun!

The trail is free but is limited to 100 children. Everybody is encouraged to come dressed as a Roald Dahl character and will receive a free tote-bag to fill with the goodies on the trail.

Devised by Young People’s Laureate Wales, Sophie McKeand, and artist and printmaker, Rhi Moxon, this event forms part of Literature Wales’ Invent your Event outreach scheme funded by Welsh Government as part of the Roald Dahl 100 Wales celebrations.

Rhi and Sophie have been working with a parents’ group at Hafod y Wern junior school as well as with various other community members to design and plan this event.

If you are able to spare a few hours to help on the day setting up, manning a Mischief March station or packing away, or for more information please contact:
