OVERTON COMMUNITY COUNCIL 3RD ANNUAL BEER FESTIVAL

Friday 21st and Saturday 22nd October
*(possibly Sunday 23rd)

FREE ENTRY

Held at the White Horse Inn, Overton
(on the High Street – you can find them in CAMRA’s Good Beer Guide)

A new location – a new approach
Yes, it’s that time of year again – when we will be getting together to drink and support projects run by the Overton Community Council. This year though, it will be different – it will be in a public house.

No more tickets required and entrance is free, so people can come and go as they please. There will be two pint takeouts available for cutomers to take home too!

No more beer tokens – just pay at the festival bar.

No more plastic glasses. No more reusing your glass all night – get a clean fresh glass every time.

The beer festival will be held in a marquee and there are no restrictions between the marquee and the rest of the White Horse pub providing more choice for customers.

13 ales to choose from
…as well as lagers, ciders, wines and soft drinks
The Community Council will be bringing along 7 beers and one cider to the event. Adding this to the excellent range of 6 ales already provided by the White Horse, there will be a choice of 13 ales. There will also be the excellent range of lagers, wines and soft drinks that you would expect from a quality public house.

Opening Times:
Friday 5pm to 11pm (pub open til 12:00).
Saturday 12 noon to 11pm (pub open til 12:00).
Sunday – pub open as usual.
*If there is any beer left the festival bar will re-open on Sunday between 12 noon and 5pm
(or until the beer has run out).

Food Times:
Cooked food available from the White Horse. Crisps, nuts etc. available during and outside of these times.
Friday 5:30pm to 9pm.
Saturday 12 noon to 2.30pm and 5.30pm to 9pm.
Sunday Carvery 12 noon, until the food has gone.

Many thanks to Kev and Olwen at the White Horse for allowing us to use their venue, providing the marquee, allowing us to use their glasses and for all their valuable input.
