‘Opening the Gates’

Details: North Wales Miners Association Trust is a registered charity. Volunteers open the gates of Bersham Colliery as an open air museum on the last Sunday of the month. The Grade 2 listed Engine House and the No.2 Headgear, designated a Structural Monument, are there to be seen, together with many relics of the mining era. On site there will also be the Mobile Mining Museum which is used as a visitor centre.
If you are interested in what we do, join the group at a cost of £10 per year.
Sensible shoes are a must.
