Live Music Showcase Concert with Achille Jones

Location: Ty Pawb Arts Centre, Market Street, Wrexham

Date / Time: Thursday November 21st at 1pm

Prices: Free to attend, Donations welcome

This weeks’ FREE to attend Live Music Showcase at 1pm on Thursday November 21st in Ty Pawb will welcome Achille Jones of Wrexham who will perform a recital for classical guitar by a number of composers including music by JS Bach, Silvius Leopold Weiss, Francisco Tárrega, Augustin Barrios, Isaac Albeniz and Gordon Giltrap.

Achille is a well-known, accomplished and respected musician and works with the Flintshire Music Service supporting young people in their music. Achille is the father of Luke Jones, who is the international concert pianist and who, in 2019, was awarded the RNCM Gold Medal and won a major award at the National Eisteddfod in August.

Coming up in our Live Music Showcase concerts through to Christmas are students from the Junior Royal Northern College of Music (28th November), pupils from Moreton Hall School (5th December), Chris Sims and a piano recital (12th December) and a Christmas ‘Extra’ Special with KC Valentine (19th December), who is currently performing with the Glyndebourne Opera Company.
