Date / Time: Saturday 10th November, 7.00 pm

Wrexham based Cantorion Sirenian Singers will perform a wide-ranging programme at St. Tudfil’s Church, Coedpoeth on Saturday night, with works by Mendelssohn, Handel, Mascagni, Judith Weir and Moses Hogan.

To mark the Eve of Remembrance Day, the choir will pay tribute to the fallen with a performance of ‘The Armed Man: A Mass for Peace’ by renowned Welsh composer Karl Jenkins. The choir last performed extracts of this work to great acclaim at a moving ceremony in the Museum of the Carabinieri Corps in Rome earlier this year.

All proceeds from the concert will go to support St. Tudfil’s Church, Coedpoeth and St. Mary’s Church, Minera.

Tickets cost £8 and are available from Pat Edwards on 01978 759198, or on the door.
