Go Green 4 Health – FREE Walking Football sessions!

Date: Every Thursday afternoon starting 2nd July

Time: 14.00pm – 15.00

Details: Groundwork North Wales’ new health initiative, ‘Go Green 4 Health’, offers a variety of activities to help people to get active in their local country parks and green spaces.

“Walking Football” is gaining popularity rapidly throughout the country and we are offering free sessions to help Wrexham residents to join the fun!

Our free walking football sessions will take place at Alyn Waters Country Park Football Field (Llay side), every Thursday 2-3pm from 2nd July. The sessions are open to all and we encourage everyone, even those who have never played or may not have played the “beautiful game” for some time, to come along and give it a go!

No age-limit, no running – just fun!

The sessions will be played on grass and we recommend suitable footwear and clothing appropriate for the weather conditions.
