Location: Ty AVOW, 21 Egerton Street, Wrexham

Date: Thursday 16 April 2015

Time: 7:15pm – 9:00pm

Details: A talk entitled “THE GLYN VALLEY TRAMWAY FROM ITS ORIGINS IN THE PAST TO THE FUTURE” is being presented by the Wrexham Area Civic Society. It is to be given by Mr. Richard Andrews.

Admission to all is free, no booking required.

The tramway was constructed to carry minerals from mines in the Ceiriog valley to the main railway at Chirk station. There are plans to reinstate the tracks, and this will no doubt be discussed.

The talk will follow the Society’s AGM (which does not take long). To learn more of the Society’s activities come to the meeting: the Chairman’s address will summarise these for all.
