Danny Gruff Heads Out On Tour In Support Of New EP
Wrexham singer songwriter Danny Gruff will be heading out on tour for the first time as a solo artist this week to promote his new EP ‘Friends/Love/Drink’.
Although he has already been further afield than Wrexham, this is the first Danny will be doing consecutive dates across Wales and England.
Over the past 18 months he has been tirelessly writing and recording demos for the new EP, trying to choose the right four songs.
A regular on the Wrexham circuit, Danny has tried and tested the new songs with audiences up and down the UK, and has now finished recording them with help from his band ‘The Peacemakers’.
To celebrate the release of the EP, Danny will venture out on five shows, including three shows with fellow songwriter Dave Giles.
The tour will culminate in his first headline show at Central Station on Sunday 30th October.
Having recently finished three years studying Music Production at the Leeds College of Music he recorded and produced the whole EP himself in various studios.
The first track released off the EP was ‘Wanderlust’ back in July, the video for which was recorded in Wrexham town centre.
Another track ‘Drink Drink Drink’ was featured on his Youtube channel and instantly became a live favourite, Danny told Wrexham.com that a video for the track is in the pipeline which will see him in a drinking contest.

24th October-Cardiff Uni
26th October-Leeds Cockpit
27th October-Manchester Moho
28th October-Liverpool Academy 2
