We are very lucky to have Esmond Selwyn playing for us at the Concert in the Park at Gresford Memorial Hall on 7th September, 1-9pm

Esmond lives in Gresford and together with several local acts will entertain us in the celebration of 70 years of the Gresford Trust. “Run by the village, for the village”, the Trust is self-funding and run by volunteers.

Esmond Selwyn has been acknowledged as one of the world’s great jazz guitarists and jazz guitar instructors ever since his entry in 1995 into the highly prestigious and much coveted work by Ivor Mairants, ‘The Great Jazz Guitarists’. Ivor wrote “…Esmond has, in my opinion, a fingerboard technique second to none…”
