North Wales Miners’ Association Trust will open Bersham Colliery, Rhostyllen, on Saturday, August 13th. from 10.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m.The site includes the old winding engine house and the pithead framework and wheels. There is also a collection of mining machinery on site and the mobile mining museum will be present. There will also be an opportunity to talk to ex-miners and hear their tales. Admission and parking is free. This date will replace the last Sunday of August when the site will NOT be open.
