Alex was diagnosed with autism when he was four years of age, and with ADHD and Dyspraxia at the age of 22. He has made a lot of progress and is now able to share his experiences of autism with others. He sees it as his life’s work to raise people’s understanding of autism. This talk is about the way sensory issues have affected Alex all through his life. He talks about the early childhood years where clothes were painful right through to how certain noises can still be painful to him.
