@wrexham Has any one seen the number of people on Belle vue park. There is even a long queue for the ice cream van. The basketball court is chocka with people. So much for being all in this together.
@ashwills87 @wrexham @Tesco Understood but gotta say my wife can’t reach top shelves or handle a heavy trolley with shopping for 5. Neither does she trust me to not buy a weeks worth of microwave burgers.
@Shallam1 @ashwills87 @wrexham @Tesco I work in a supermarket and its horrendous, surely you can follow a list off your wife? 2 people don't need to come shopping. The majority of people treat it like a trip out,we have to be there, 2 of you don't.
@ashwills87 @Tesco @wrexham There were families there too, not just the middle aged. But you’re right, and I don’t think Tesco were restricting numbers in there either. Too many people - I didn’t feel very safe
@ashwills87 @wrexham @Tesco Shouldn’t the focus be more on the fact that Tesco weren’t enforcing it as opposed to those shoppers that were going in together? You’re quite right but we need to call out the supermarkets too if they’re not setting the example
Middle aged couples really havent grasped the concept of shop alone where possible. Especially today in @Tesco @wrexham store today. If you dont need assistance, shop alone.
A beautiful 6 mile walk yesterday taking in The Flash, Vicarage Gorse, and Borras Head... ohhh and a couple of old pals who always trot over to say hello! @NorthWalesWalks @wrexham @LitterWrexham @DawnMorrise @lucyduk

Today marks a year since the first coronavirus case was reported in Wales. The last year has been a long and extremely difficult one, where everyone has had to sacrifice so much. My thoughts are with the friends and family of all those we’ve lost to this cruel disease.
It was impossible to imagine then that we would still be living in a very different world a year on. The vaccine offers hope for the future, but we’re not there yet. For now, we still need to stay home. Diolch for everything you’ve done and continue to do to #KeepWalesSafe
This has been incredibly tough, but thanks to your efforts coronavirus cases are falling.
For now, we need to stay at home a little longer. If we stick with it and see cases fall further, elements of normal life can return soon.
So let’s not give up now. Please stay home.
Trig point looking towards Moel Famau and then towards Wrexham. Spectacular morning @wrexham #northwales #almostspring
that these applications are across all different subject areas, and that 300 international students have joined them this year.
I had a helpful catch-up call with Professor Maria Hinfelaar, Vice Chancellor of @GlyndwrUni. It was good to hear that their UCAS applications are up 15% for next year, excluding international students and late applications,

@NWPWrexhamTown The pressure on local parks in Acton, Gresford, Bellevue is a consequence of Country Parks being shut. Shutting parks was never going to solve the problem, it just pushed it into residential areas. Car parking in Acton rammed today!

It was a great system to combat silly waiting times on their phone system, as well as facilitating night workers to be able to access the medical system without taking time off work / cutting into already strained sleeping patterns.
Poor that the Community Care Collaborative @wrexham have stopped patients submitting e-consult forms outside practice hours. It was just a ticket system with a response SLA. @BetsiCadwaladr surely not the forward thinking approach required to meet the needs of the public?
We have been conducting patrols & speed checks in the #Wrexham area today, focusing on #KingsMillsRoad & #Bersham areas of the county in conjunction with @NWPWrexhamTown HGC Trêf Wrecsam / NWP Wrexham Town SNT officers. We will continue into the week focusing on #Fatal5 offences.
