Wrexham Tennis Centre is based at Plas Coch and has played host to everyone from amateurs to Scottish tennis star Andy Murray over the years.

They host local, national and international tennis tournaments.

The centre is home to a full time academy with young tennis stars aged 14-21 who practice there 5 days a week.

It is run by a not for profit trust, which aims to be as inclusive as possible.

The average price to play on the courts is £10 an hour although prices vary depending on what time you play.

Anyone can hire the courts on a pay and play basis and they also hold a coaching programme for ages ranging from veterans to juniors.

Wrexham Tennis Centre also has plans in the pipeline to establish a wheelchair squad in the near future.

Their courts are relaid every six years, funded by Wrexham County Borough Council as part of the Indoor Tennis Centre incentive.
