Wrexham FC fans were very keen to get their hands on tickets for the away game and possible title decider at Fleetwood – some queuing from 5am this morning!
Fleetwood had only issued 975 tickets for the clash, and Wrexham FC had issued vouchers at an away game to allow those with a voucher and a season ticket first go. This morning season ticket holders were able to purchase them without a voucher. If all tickets are not sold, which going by demand today is highly unlikely, the remaining tickets will go on general sale.
There are many fans who are planning to travel to Fleetwood without a ticket, despite efforts to dissuade them.
The landlord at The Turf pub by the Racecourse ground will be putting on extra screens, however demand for that is so big he is having to make it a (free) ticketed event.
Today Wrexham FC take on Forest Green Rovers in their quest to keep the pressure on Fleetwood and regain Football League status that was sadly lost under the previous mismanagement of the club.
