Preparations are well underway ahead of Wrexham FC’s FA Trophy Final against Grimsby this weekend.

Earlier today the players sat down to a language and singing session at the Colliers Park training ground as they will be expected to belt out the national anthem ahead of the game. Our reporter didn’t think there were any candidates to challenge the Rhos Male Voice Choir, although Wrexham.com sponsored Glen Little did display more enthusiasm than most!

Elsewhere, official merchandise sales branched out from the Eagles Meadow base and took to Queens Square in a bid to ward off peddlers, who appeared at a number of town centre locations.

Yale College have also been showing their support by parading as club mascot Wrex the Dragon!

A level student Chiquita-Dee Williams and fellow supporter and public services student Ollie Williams took to the streets to encourage fans to buy merchandise direct from the specially set up Wembley shop, so that all proceeds would go directly to the club.

Keen Wrexham FC fan and Yale Principal Jasbir Dhesi said: “We are keen to support the Club and wish them every success.”
