North Wales Crusaders have launched the sale of their special edition “Glyndwr” replica shirts today via the club’s website.

To mark the club’s fresh start under fan ownership the Crusaders have opted for a new shirt supplier in the form of rugby kit supplier Rhino and the shirt is also branded with a special chevron in the colours of shirt sponsors Glyndwr University.

The stock of shirts are due in this week and they will also be available to purchase in person from the Glyndwr University Sports Centre from Friday.

The cost of a shirt is £44.99 for adults and £35 for children, both plus postage and packing unless bought in person.

North Wales Crusaders’ chief executive Jamie Thomas said: “We’ve been overwhelmed by requests to buy these unique replica shirts.

“We’ve been taking a lot of phone calls and receiving emails asking when they’ll be available to we’re delighted that they will be out this week.

“I’m sure we’ll see a lot of our fans wearing them when we take on Barrow Raiders in our first Cooperative Championship 1 match at the Glyndwr University Racecourse Stadium on Sunday 11th March.”
