Wrexham’s MP Gets Christmas Tree From Local Scouts

Ian Lucas, MP for Wrexham, had his Christmas tree delivered this weekend by his local Scout group. The 1st Rhosnesni Scouts, based on Dean Road, have been selling trees to raise funds for the last three years – you can read our previous story on this here.

Mr Lucas said: “The trees are excellent quality and great value for money!”

The Scouts will be selling the trees again for the next two Saturdays – the 8th & 15th December, from 10am to 4pm, outside their Scout hut. They are available to be bought on the day, or can be ordered in advance by contacting Alison on 07752 665192. A delivery service is also available.

The trees are quality non-needle drop Nordman Firs with no roots and are £28 for 4ft, £32 for 5ft, £36 for 6ft or £40 for 7ft.
