Sunday saw the latest in a line of ‘street parties’ to hit Wrexham High Street , this one being the ‘Wild Welsh Street Party’ hosted by Wrexham Chamber of Tourism & Trade.

Market Stalls and Games
The street party was welcomed by shopkeepers nearby, with one commenting “This event is better run than previous ones as the focus is away from the Wynnstay and seems to be more spread”. The swealtering hot weather encouraged many to take part in the street activities, and local police were seen enjoying playing with the large bubbles that floated around!

Live Music Was On Show

One local resident was less happy, saying “it was an excuse for people to drink in the street” yet when Wrexham.com attended there was a ‘cafe culture’ of onstreet drinking however nothing too rowdy.
