Wrexham Police Appeal Round-Up

North Wales Police have issued several appeals following a number of incidents in the Wrexham area.

Bag Snatch Appeal

Police are appealing for information after a woman had her handbag snatched in Wrexham.

The incident happened at around 12.45am on Saturday May 31 at the junction of Rhosddu Road and Stansty Road.

A woman walking along Rhosddu Road and was followed by two youths. As she turned into Stansty Road one of the youths grabbed her bag causing her to fall to the ground.

The victim was left shaken, but not seriously hurt. The youths made off with the handbag along Rhosddu Road towards the direction of Mawddwy Avenue.

A total of three youths have been arrested in connection with the incident and released on police bail pending inquiries.

Bike Thefts

Police are appealing for information after a bicycle was stolen from Chirk.

A silver coloured Mira bicycle was stolen an address in Bronywaen, Chirk at  around 11:30am on Sunday 1st June.

The suspect who was seen acting suspiciously in the area beforehand is described as a youth with a shaved head. He was wearing a black hoody.

Anyone with information about the theft is asked to call police on 101. Crime reference RC1401603.

 

Vehicle Damage

A vehicle was left damaged while parked outside Wrexham Railway Station this weekend.

Between 10:00am and 3:00pm on Saturday 31st May, a blue Vauxhall Astra received  deep scratches. The scratches which are around eight to 10 inches long are believed to have been caused by a key.

Garden Thefts

Wrexham Town Policing Team are appealing for information following a number of thefts from gardens in the Wrexham area recently.

 

Sometime between 11:00pm on Friday 30th May and 7:15am on Satursday 31st May, solar lights were removed from the front of a property in the Coed Aben area. Anyone with any information is asked to call the police on 101. Crime reference RC14080858.

 

At sometime between Tuesday 6th May and Monday 12th May, three mosaic lights and four lanterns were removed from the rear garden in the Pont Wen area. Anyone with any information is asked to call the police on 101. Crime reference RC14080889.

 

Sometime overnight on Friday 30th May and Saturday 31st May, a white bird bath was stolen in the Holt Road Area. Anyone with any information is asked to call the police on 101. Crime reference RC14080898.

 

Between 9:00pm on Friday 30th May and 12pm lunchtime on Saturday 31st May, a concrete bench was stolen from the Tan-Y-Dre area. Anyone with any information is asked to call the police on 101. Crime reference RC14080918.
