The largest nightclub in Wrexham has announced it had “record attendance” over the Halloween period.

ATIK on Brook Street, said attracted 13% more customers over the Halloween period compared to the previous year when it was Liquid & Envy, with almost 4,000 clubbers coming out for ghoulish fun.

The club underwent a £600,000 investment and refurb in September, creating 35 new jobs in Wrexham. In October the former Liquid & Envy premises relaunched as three new venues – ATIK, Vinyl and Curve.

The club is owned by The Deltic Group, which operates 57 premium bars and clubs across the UK, and the company enjoyed an overall uplift in admissions for Halloween Saturday of 2.3% to 90,598 people.

Deltic’s regional operations director, Tony Gorbert, said: “ATIK Wrexham has proved to be a big hit since our launch last month following a £600,000 investment.

“The fact we saw so many people turn out for Halloween week, reveals its popularity and secures its spot as the biggest event in the late night sector’s calendar.”
