Welsh historian Professor John Davies cut the ribbon on the revamped Wrexham Museum.

Wrexham Council, the Heritage Lottery Fund and the Welsh Government all co funded the refurb, bringing a modern twist on history interaction via digital touchscreens.

One new area of interest is the Welsh Football Association players who have earned their caps at the Wrexham Racecourse ground section.

This reopening ties in with the National Eisteddfod arriving in Wrexham.
