Saturday 22nd March

Rhosddu Spring Craft & Gift Fair

Looking to buy something bit different or special for Mother’s Day or Easter? At the Rhosddu Spring Craft and Gift fair there is a wide range of handmade gifts, sweets and cakes. There will also be a raffle with prizes available from stallholders.

Michael Jackson Tribute Concert

Experience the magic of James Jackson, the UK’s leading Michael Jackson tribute act, as he performs to some of the King of Pop’s greatest hits including: Billie Jean, Smooth Criminal, Thriller, Beat It and many more in this 90+ minute concert! ‘Belles On Bikes’ Cycle Ride For Women

Volunteers from charity ‘Sustrans’ are hosting a cycle event for women, offering the chance to come together on two-wheels and get back in the saddle. There is no need for lycra or any gadgets….just a bike with a saddle and brakes (& perhaps a waterproof)! The ride will begin in Chirk and head to Llangollen before heading back again.

Sport Relief Mile

It’s Sport Relief time once more and in aid of the event, this year you can raise funds and awareness by running, walking or hoola hooping a mile. This event is suitable for all ages.

Monday 24th March

Dylan Live

This bilingual performance traces Dylan Thomas’ trip to New York in 1952 through a fusion of vinyl, jazz, beat poetry, hip hop, spoken word and film. Featuring Professor Daniel Williams, Martin Daws, Zaru Jonson, Aneirin Karadog, Ed Holden, Huw V Williams and Ewan Jones Morris.

Dial 999: The History of the Emergency Services in Wrexham

We all rely on the three emergency services – the Police, Ambulance and Fire & Rescue – to protect our communities and save lives. This exhibition reveals their beginnings locally and how they have changed over the past two hundred years. The exhibit is open until March 29th.
