In a flurry of activity Wrexham Football Club have made three new signings today.

Fan fave local boy Robbie Evans has also signed on for an extra year, following in the footsteps of Mark Carrington and Sean Newton in re-signing for the coming season.

20-year-old Callum Powell signed on a one year contract, who plays as a left sided striker. Last season Callum joined Rugby Town in the Evo-Stik Northern Premier on none contract terms where he made 38 starting appearances, 4 from the bench while scoring 5 goals.

Khaellem Bailey-Nicholls will finish his scholarship with Birmingham City this summer where he has progressed through the youth ranks since joining the club at age 10 before joining up with the reds. Wolverhampton born Khaellem is an ‘exciting wide striker’ who impressed during his time in the Birmingham City Development squad. He was nominated for the LFE goal of the month in February 2016 for his strike against Bolton Wanderers while helping the Blue’s development squad to a 4th placed finish in the U21 Development League.

The final signing of the day was unveiled at 6pm, with defender Hamza Bencherif signing on from recently relegated Halifax Town.

Earlier this month Wrexham FC announced their retained list with players such as Lee Fowler and Kayden Jackson leaving the Racecourse.
