Bus users who have yet to renew their concessionary passes will be able to do so at a drop-in session later this week.

Taking place at the Wrexham Library on January 31st, volunteers will be able on a first come first serve basis to help guide you through the process of applying for a new one.

The original expiry date for the old bus passes was 31 December 2019, however, last month TfW announced a period of grace and is urging those who’ve yet to apply to do so as soon as possible, before the February 29 deadline.

Just bring your current bus pass and you National Insurance number.

Earlier this month it was announced that Transport for Wales had renewed over 500,000 bus passes since the launch of the scheme last year.

During the first days of the application process the website collapsed under the weight of traffic as those looking to renew passes rushed to get new ones.

Recent figures reveal that 67% of all existing active card holders have made an online application to renew and 83% of users of cards in the last 12 months have also made an online application.

The help session will take place between 2pm and 3pm on Friday 31st January.
