Saturday 25th January

Dylan’s Final Journey

A LimeLight Productions Wrexham  starting in his ‘lovely, ugly’ home town of Swansea, the play follows Dylan Thomas through some of the journeys he made, culminating in his final journey to New York in 1953, where he died. This is event is suitable for 16+. Advanced booking is required.

Pro Wrexham – Informal Business Networking

Need a crash course in Linked in? So do we! Pro Wrexham is back with informal breakfast networking followed by a presentation for all those who need to improve their Linked in skills. After the breakfast networking, Giles Warbuton, MD of On The Shortlist Recruitment will be doing a 30 minute presentation on the dos and don’ts of Linked in to help you build yourself a better profile. Giles has 11 years in IT technical and project management roles and 8 years leading IT recruitment businesses. Pro Wrexham is a new professional networking group. STRAND

The exhibition looks at the work of artists exploring the use and symbolism of hair in their work. Ken Ashton (Deeside), Marion Michell (London), Jane Copeman (Cheshire), Jeanette Orrell (Denbighshire) and recent Liverpool Art Prize winner Tabitha Moses (Liverpool). The exhibition will be supported by museum loans of hair items including mourning jewellery and brushes.
