Wrexham Inclusion Football Club secures massive boost with £2000 PACT funding

Wrexham Inclusion Football Club have a received a financial boost thanks to PACT funding.

The club, which caters for all disabilities, mental health, social inclusion and anything that disables people from everyday life, was awarded the cheque for £2,000 on Wednesday 4th October.

The funding will go towards providing football sessions, equipment and ongoing costs.

Ahead of the cheque being awarded, the club welcomed David Evans, PACT (Police And Community Trust), Lloyd Fitzhugh OBE, trustee of the board -PACT, and local PCSO Ryan Jones, to watch the inclusion football sessions at Plas Madoc Leisure Centre.

A combined 56 service users joined the team last week for the two football sessions and to witness the cheque presentation and the opening of the club’s second trophy cabinet at Plas Madoc Leisure Centre.

The cabinet, which features an array of trophies, takes pride of place in the centre’s reception area and showcases the club’s achievements from years gone by.
