Parts of Wrexham are currently left without power following a ‘supply interruption’ earlier this evening.

Homes in the Plas Bennion area of Penycae have been left with electricity issues since before 6:30pm this evening.

The issues have reportedly been caused by a crash in the area earlier this evening.

A statement released on the SP Energy Networks website states: “Our emergency response teams have been alerted and will be making their way to site to restore your electricity supply by 9.45PM. Should this information change on arrival every effort will be made to keep you updated. We apologise for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience.”
