Wrexham’s popular Food and Drink Festival has raised a whopping £15,000 for a local hospice.

The annual Wrexham Food and Drink Festival was held in aid of Nightingale House Hospice across Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th May.

Across the two day event, thousands descended on Llwyn Isaf to sample some delicious food and ales, listen to live music and soak up the sunshine.

Organisers said: “We are delighted to confirm that the 2016 Wrexham Food & Drink Festival has raised an incredible £15,000 for our local hospice, Nightingale House Hospice.

“This money will allow the healthcare team at the hospice to continue caring for patients from all across North East Wales who are living with end of life conditions.

“On behalf of the Wrexham Food & Drink Festival, thank you so much to all of you who helped the event raise this money for such a wonderful cause.”
