The flag, which was raised yesterday, will be in place until Sunday 25th June. This is the 10th time the Flag has been raised in Wrexham.

Mayor, Cllr John Pritchard, said: “Wrexham has close and historic links with the armed forces. Flying this flag sends the message that we are proud of these links and of the deep respect we have for the bravery and courage of our armed forces when they are called to action”.

Armed Forces Champion, Cllr David Griffiths, said: “As Armed Forces Community Covenant signatories we are proud to work hard to ensure that armed services personnel, past and present are never disadvantaged by their service to their country.”
