Wrexham Council’s website has gone offline, the second time this month.

UPDATE: As of 11:25am the website returned. Our monitoring started late last night recording a downtime of 13 hours. However with the first problems starting earlier the downtime was likely a few hours longer.

UPDATE: As of 8am the website is still not responding.

Problems were first recorded at 8pm last night with the issue still unresolved as of 10:20pm when this article first went live.

No planned downtime notice appears to have been circulated, with this evening’s outage eclipsing the length of the earlier unavailability.

Previous issues on the 10th of June appeared to just affect Wrexham.gov.uk , however the issues this evening seem wider spread with planning.wrexham.gov.uk also being affected.

The site is not only informational, with payment links and services offered with a push by the authority towards such automated services via the web.

We will update when we have further information, and / or it returns!
